Match Report
Tettenhall College Mixed-U18A vs  Bedstone College
On: Wednesday, 11 Oct 2017
Venue: Away

Our second match of the season saw us make the beautiful, but long journey to Bedstone in darkest Shropshire. By the time we got there most of the girls were feeling travel sick from the bendy roads, but this did not stop us from playing very well in what proved to be a highly competitive fixture. The girl’s team was captained by Daria Kosova and she put in a real captain’s performance leading from the front and winning most of her games. A special mention should also go to Sameen who was making her debut for the team and though she did not win any of her games on this occasion she made a very good impression and I am certain she will go on to be successful in the future. Amanvir Rai was the most successful of the players on the boy’s this occasion, but the standard was very high and sadly we slipped to defeat in this fixture 13 games to 5. We look forward though to trying to get our revenge in the return fixture. Well done to everyone who played and battled bravely on the day.
